The East Bay Plein Air Painters are having a group show at the Berkeley Yacht Club. In Benicia, on the main drag (1st Street), they have an annual Holiday parade and art/craft market. The HQGallery, of which I’m a member, will have two booths near the gallery to show our works. The Alameda Plein Air Paint Out starts Sunday with a “Quick Draw” in the morning, and we’ll hang the paintings in the afternoon 1:00 to 5:00 pm. This will take place in the Marketplace of Alameda’s 28th annual Park Street Art & Wine Fair.
The Park Street Art & Wine Faire is located on Park Street, between Encinal Ave and Buena Vista Ave.

I was going to insert a photo of an finished painting, but I forgot to take pictures — well, you’ll just have to come see them! Here’s a detail of another unfinished one.
I went back to Cavallo Point to start a new painting for the Epperson Paint Out, going on this week. This is the sketch so far – I’m thinking of ditching the bridge – it’s usually so corny and overdone! Maybe I’ll hide it with more tree foliage.
The fog was drifting in through the golden gate when I started, but the warmth of the day drove it out and theb it was gone. I hiked up the hill and ate my sandwich on the trail.
